Short notice…but my plans changed and the forecast looks good. Let’s do MINIS!
Sessions will run every half an hour from 4pm to 6:30pm. That’s only SEVEN sessions. First come, first served, so email me NOW! Location TBD – South Calgary.
The idea is to get a perfect Christmas Card shot, plus individuals of each child, the children together, and mom & dad together (hasn’t happened since your Wedding Photos? Now’s the time!)
Your gallery will be up within ONE WEEK of your shoot, where you can show family & friends and pick your fave 4 images. I email them to you RIGHT AWAY! Additional files and prints and wall art can be purchased (and CHRISTMAS Cards!).
Fall shoots are underway! I have 8 sessions this week! If you are considering booking this month, I only have a few sessions available, so let me know.
Here are some of my favourites from my last few sessions. None of which are actually fall shoots…I`m pretty far behind (what else is new?!?!) Make sure you follow my Facebook Page to see sneak peeks of my fall shoots as I edit them, since it could be spring before I manage to blog them!
Most summers, we spend almost every weekend at Sylvan Lake at our family cabin. This year, we decided to head out to the West Coast, and we rented a house on Salt Spring Island. It had been 10 years since Mike and I had been out to the coast, and the first time on Salt Spring for both of us.
The house we rented was AMAZING. Way more room than we needed, a hot tub and 2 bedrooms that overlooked the ocean, an old claw foot bathtub…and wifi. What else does a girl need?!?! It was the kind of vacation that nothing could ever compare to, so we’ll probably spend forever trying, or just rent the same place again. Although I wasn’t a fan of the drive (especially the Coquihalla at night…in the rain…as the passenger) and I’m not sure it will be an every year kind of vacation. Unless we fly.
Here’s some pics!
BC or Bust! So grateful Charlie is an awesome traveller!
My little Camera Camp grad – she’s quite the little Photog. We spent a day in Vancouver on the way there, and visited Stanley park, the Aquarium & Granville Island.
The kids & I on the Ferry, and the kids & I with RAFFI! We were on the Island for 10 minutes before I met RAFFI! I introduced myself as a Beluga Grad. #Nerd #HugeNerd
The views from the house. Ahhhhh-mazing!
More of the house.
We did a huge hike up Mt. Erskine. Oh, and we don’t hike, so this was a HUGE feat. The view form the top was spectacular.
Mike caught a fish on his first cast into the Ocean. #sizedoesntmatter
Abby’s holding a Sunflower Star Fish, that was found right in front of the house.
The amount of Star Fish right on our shore was incredible. Charlie was quite the little Star Fish Farmer!
Salt Spring has these awesome painted pianos everywhere. The kids loved it.
Charlie catching crabs in his ‘Crabby’ shirt. He’d call the bigger ones ‘Pinchers’, but pronounced it like ‘Pincers’. He’d yell up from the beach, “I got a PINCER here!”
A pic from the pool in Kamloops where we spent a night on the way home, and some pics from Moraine Lake where we did the tourist thing when we needed to stretch our legs.
Having two older sisters, Charlie gets a lot of love. He also learns a lot from his sisters, including their love of YouTube, and making videos. When we went through our ‘Cups‘ phase, the girls watched & recorded a LOT of YouTube videos.
The other day, Charlie got out a cup, sat down with my phone and set it up to record himself teaching ‘Cups’. He needed help turning the camera off, but other than that, this is all his doing:
I love how he starts doing it, and then stops to do a bit of a tutorial and then starts singing again. Mostly all the wrong words, and clearly a much simpler version of the moves, but perfect for a three year old.
