This was my busiest fall ever. Thanks to all my awesome regulars and tons of new clients!
All but one of my fall sessions were down by the Ranche in Fish Creek this year. As much as I try to get to some new places, I just keep going back there. It has some of the best backgrounds I’ve ever seen. The biggest problem with this, is that when I go to blog, all the sessions look so similar! Well, and fighting for spots with other photographers!

But alas, here they are!

The ‘Best Dressed’ award goes to this family. I just love how coordinated they were. The plum colour looks great with the fall background!

This was the most meaningful shoot for me this fall – probably all year. It’s coincidentally the only session not done at the Ranche! This little guy has Autism and it was a tough shoot. I was seriously cheering when I uploaded them to my computer and saw the good ones. Trust me, the ones where he’s looking at the camera were TOUGH to get. I’m super pleased with what I was able to capture.

This family deserves a shout-out. I was late for their session. Well, it was worse than that. I actually forgot about their session. By the time they called me, and I got there, I was 48 minutes late. Thankfully, they were awesome about it, and I ended up with better light than I would have had if we had started on time. Everything happens for a reason. Or because you forget to put it in your calendar. 😉

And talk about sweet light! This was an incredible night for light:

Fall shoots are underway! I have 8 sessions this week! If you are considering booking this month, I only have a few sessions available, so let me know.

Here are some of my favourites from my last few sessions. None of which are actually fall shoots…I`m pretty far behind (what else is new?!?!) Make sure you follow my Facebook Page to see sneak peeks of my fall shoots as I edit them, since it could be spring before I manage to blog them!

Once again, I’ve been slacking royally with blogging my Photo Shoots. I’m really terrible at doing it actually. So terrible, that I have shoots from last September that I still haven’t blogged.
So, to take the pressure off, I’m going to do the rest of my 2012 shoots in two posts. This is the 1st one. Here are some of my faves from September until Mid-November:

First up are 2 of my favourite little people, who are both daughters of my BFF’s. Both their Momma’s just went back to work within the last 2 weeks, and I feel for them, having to leave their little munchkins behind every day. I remember having to do the same thing. Bittersweet.

Next up is Baby T, the newest member to our block – that I`m aware of! Baby T is the little brother of sweet Baby O, who you can see here.

I’m doing some outdoor mini sessions in July. They are first come, first served, so contact me right away to reserve a spot.

They will be done at either Fish Creek Park, my favourite deserted Barn by Chaparral, or a Canola Field (close to Okotoks).

In the fall, most my business is family portraits…understandably. It seems that this time of year is ‘Headshot season’. I am getting tons of inquiries for headshots and professional portraits, so I thought I’d put all the info in a blog post!

Headshots are easy. If you come to the studio, it usually takes 15-20 minutes. I can have the images up on the blog within 24 hours, and when you chose them, I can email them right to you; often resulting in a 48 hour (or less) turnaround.

If you have an entire office or group of people that need professional portraits, I can come to you. In very little space (often a boardroom will work) I can set up my equipment and can tskr portrsitd for up to 50 people in less than 3 hours. Turnaround for larger groups is 5-7 days.

If less than 5 images are purchased, I email them to you immediately. For 6 or more images, you will receive a disk.

Prices for headshots can be seen here.
